Southern Sweet Tea for my Mid West Friends!

There is Sweet Tea & then there is GOOD Sweet Tea!
Being from North Carolina Sweet Tea is my 8 glasses of Water a day......Not Kidding =) When I share my Sweet Tea with Friends & Family in the Mid West they always ask how I make it.
So here it is for all to enjoy.

First thing is first ~ Must use Luzianne Iced Tea Bags.
Side Note: If you are a daily Target shopper like myself, you won't find Luzianne there.  Walmart & most local grocery stores carry it.

I use my Pampered Chef Rice Cooker Plus ~ Add 2 family size Tea Bags & fill with water to the top.
Place in the microwave for 10 minutes.  Let it steep for another 10 minutes or so.  There have been times when I mix it right away. No big deal really either way, Tea will just be weaker at first.

Pour Tea from Rice Cooker into your Pitcher (Love Love Love the Quick Stir Pitcher from Pampered Chef).  Add your 1 Cup of Sugar right AWAY!! This is key ~ you want the Tea to be hot so that the sugar melts.  Plunge or stir while adding your water.

That's it ~ Now Go & Enjoy your Southern Sweet Tea!!
